Vintage Ephemera
The Dionne Quintuplets were the first identical quintuplets known to have survived infancy. Gil Elvgren, the classic American illustrator, was commissioned to paint the Dionne Quints by Brown and Bigelow. This illustration is of the Quints when they were 5 years of age birthday. The top right corner reads, "Kendrick and Sherman, Personal Service, Phone 171, Haynesville Louisiana". Below the illustration, it reads, "The Dionne Quintuplets, Five Little Sweethearts, This Year They are Five". This calendar is 16"x11 1/4". Has tear on top and left border. Corners are worn and bent. Discoloration present. Please see photos. I discovered that the month of February is missing from the calendar as I was writing the description! I thought it was complete. Please look over the photos I've taken for you and feel free to email me any questions that you may have. $30.00 + 5.99 S&H
